We just came back from our first cruise! We sailed out from New Orleans on January 12th on Carnival Fantasy. We sailed on the Western Caribbean itinerary and visited Cozumel and Progreso, Mexico. In Cozumel we caught some sun and went for a swim. While in Progreso we booked a shore excursion to visit Chichen Itza - a Mayan city that is now one of the new seven wonders of the world. Albuquerque

August was a hot month and Rheanna had 2 weeks off from school so we decided to go to Albuquerque and visit her family with Karen and Roderick. After an extensive travelling the first day (we had to fly through Phoenix) we finally got there. It was hot but not humid so we had pretty good weather the entire time we were there. We had a good time visiting all the relatives and going to Sandia Peak. It was a mini-vacation since we were only there for 4 days. Check out the photos!

California Visit

In May we went to California for a vacation. We flew from Orlando to LA. We spent 2 days in LA and then drove to San Diego where we visited the zoo. The trip was a lot of fun for it was the first time for Rheanna to visit California. It was also a crazy time since we had time to go to 3 different theme parks: Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure and Knott's Berry Farm. The last one mention was also the craziest since we experienced some roller coaster rides like we never had experienced before.
